For one of our science explorations this week, the Blue Birds grew Orbs. After they had grown to marble size, we then added some pumpkins to the mix.
The Blue Birds were enthralled with the differences in textures, weight, and color. We talked about how scientists use observation to solve problems and how the orbs feel, smell, look, and sound.
Blue Birds used the following words to describe the orbs: slimy, squishy, soft, slippery, big, small, medium, runny, biggest, beautiful, and eewwww. So glad you had a great time Blue Birds!
