Talk about cute….. .! Look at this adorable turtle and letter T.
The Bluebirds worked hard and had much fun making a train with train tracks on a letter T. Then they added the letters of their own name on the train cars. Please help your child practice saying the letters in their name . . . letter recognition and naming letters is an important kindergarten preparation skill.
Make it a game! Grab a pad of post-it notes and write a letter of your child’s name on each sticky note. Send your child on a scavenger hunt to find all the letters of their name. Ask your child to name them and put them in correct order.
T is for turkey. “It tickles!” was a comment I heard during
our hand painting process. I painted the children’s hands
and then we carefully placed them on the paper.
The children later drew the turkey eyes and feet after the paint dried.
We practiced singing our shape song as the children were able to choose
the appropriate shape to go along with the words in the song.
Basketball with Mr. Antonio…
Mr. Antonio is very good at explaining basic skills to the Bluebirds.
Here he demonstrates how to throw a basket and how to dribble the ball.
The children practice moving while bouncing the ball…
Let’s make a basket!
Its time to take a boat ride!
Thanks for joining us!
We hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
