Projects that take several days to complete are really important at this age. Last week the Manta Rays spent 3 days completing this art project in stages.
On dress like a cowboy/ cowgirl day, the Manta Rays had so many different choices for designing their attire…
Our chilli and cornbread cooking project was a huge hit! We extended the learning by investigating the different uses of corn. The Manta Rays explored and described the similarities and differences between corn kernels, corn flour, corn meal, and corn starch.
Cactus rice art was a great compliment to this week’s cooking project…
