About the Owner and Staff

The Owner and Her Vision

A stroll through Kidspace reveals light-filled, joyful learning environments, where children and teachers alike are actively engaged. For over 20 years, Kidspace owner Kathy Stanley has carefully developed a vision for providing an intentional, caring, child-centered community. She offers over 30 years of education and experience to Kidspace that provides a strong framework for staff, children and families to thrive.

Informed by her background in early childhood education, and fueled by her faith and values, Kathy continues to cultivate a place where scholarship, acceptance, joy, and wonder abound. She tirelessly pursues opportunities for improvement and strive to make the important work of children and their teachers visible.

Kathy is typically on-site either in a classroom or providing direct support to the center. Her continued presence fosters the strong sense of community that elevates Kidspace as a child enrichment center.

Kidspace Teachers

Kidspace staff are skilled educators who understand how to partner with students to scaffold learning and development. Most of our teachers have spent years helping Kidspace become one of Vancouver’s leading providers of early childhood education. We provide continuing education opportunities throughout the year for all of our staff.
