It’s been another exciting week in the Robins’ class. We’ve spent the last couple weeks counting down the days until Valentine’s Day and on Tuesday it was finally here!
We celebrated by passing out valentines.
Some of the families helped the children make valentines. Thanks again to all the families that helped out!
The Robins had a plan for a Valentine’s feast and our families made it happen. Thank you! We had apples, grapes, cookies, and strawberry milk. Yum!
This week the Robins practiced working in pairs by creating collages together. Each pair took turns fulfilling different roles – one kiddo would be the director and get to try and use their words to describe where they wanted the pieces placed, while their partner would be responsible for making it happen. When they were satisfied with their art they would trade places.
We reviewed the letters of the alphabet that we’ve learned (A-L) by making alphabet art on the warming trays and playing ABC games at circle time.
The letter of the week was “L” for Lion. We learned some cool facts about the king of the jungle and even went on an “animal safari.”
Thanks for reading! Until next week,
Miss Crystal & Miss Julie
