It has been a truly magical two weeks in the Manta Rays class. Take a look!
Presto The Magician was amazing! The Manta Rays had such a great time!
We began our magic theme by reading the book, Sylvester & The Magic Pebble, and discussing what each of the Manta Rays would do if they had a magic pebble of thier own. Afterwrads, we tried painting with some “magic pebbles.”
We took our first trip to the library. Miss Suzie, the librarian, invited us to an early morning story time. We had the hole library to ourselves! We listened to two wonderful stories, sang, danced, and explored all the different books the library has to offer. We had a great time and are counting down the days until our next visit.
A magic shell ice cream party!
This week the we explored the magic of being creative, making art, and mixing colors.
The Manta Rays used their magic to take 3 primary colors and transform them into a multitude of different hues.
We read and acted out the book, Little Blue, Little Yellow..
We used salt, glue, and water colors for another magical art experience…
Playing with light and color…
The Manta Rays discovered that science can be pretty magical as well.
Exploring magnets…
We conducted a few different science experiments this week. This magical potion is called “elephant toothpaste”.
The Manta Rays grew a magical crystal garden. Over several days, we watched our crystals grow and change and we drew our observations
