Have you ever seen an octopus through a magnifying glass? |

On this day the Robin’s got the chance to touch a baby octopus and then use a magnifying glass to really
see all of it’s different features. |

The Robin’s learned that an adult octopus has 8 legs and that each of these legs contain 240 suction cups. They also learned that octopuses have 3 hearts and blue blood. Great week of learning, kiss your brains. |

Now, on to the eating of the octopus…..
Yes, you read right, eating. |

First, you dip the octopus in milk then coat it with a flour and bread crumb mixture. |
|
These boys had fun dipping and coating the octopus. But when it came time to actually eat the octopus.
Well, that was a different story. Out of 18 Robin’s, 5 of them asked for seconds and thirds. The rest of the class decided they would rather look at the octopus through the magnifying glass than eat it. |
