ROBINS – Spin Spider Spin

Spin Spider Spin is a very catchy song and just the perfect background music to spin a spider web.

The children took turns rolling a ball of yarn to friends.  The children enjoyed watching the web take shape.  They also were thoughtful about making sure each of their classmates had a turn to receive the yarn and roll it to another friend.

After morning circle was over, the children continued to make the web bigger and better.

This activity provided many terrific lessons in cooperation and team building. It was also a great introduction to lines and angles.
